Our health and wellbeing program increases physical and mental health awareness, encourages healthy lifestyle behaviors and supports our employees by providing a physically and mentally healthy workplace. Our team has access to a range of initiatives including wellbeing days, an annual health and wellbeing subsidy, access to mental health support via our EAP provider and more.

Flexible working

We know that flexible working promotes a healthy work/life balance. Our Flex@SYD policy gives all team members access to flexible working, irrespective of team, title or tenure. Free on-site car parking

As a Sydney Airport employee you can access the International Staff and Domestic Public car parks. You can use these when you travel for business or leisure.

Additional leave benefits

Purchased Annual Leave: an additional 2 weeks' leave can be purchased per calendar year.

Paid Parental Leave: access to 18 weeks paid primary carers leave, and 3 weeks' secondary carer's leave after twelve months of continuous service.

Volunteer Day: to support Sydney Airport's commitment to our community and to our people, employees can access one paid volunteer leave day per calendar to support one of Sydney Airport's charity partners.

Domestic Violence Leave: access to up to 5 paid leave days per calendar year, to offer assistance to employees who find themselves in these difficult personal circumstances.

Employee assistance program

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an external counselling service available to employees and their immediate family. Confidential counselling services can be provided online, over the phone or face-to-face, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Helping others

Our Workplace Donation Program is a convenient and positive way to make contributions to charitable organisations through pre-tax payroll deductions. With the help of our employees, we have partnered with the Victor Chang Cardio Research Institute, The Smith Family, Beyond Blue, The Royal Flying Doctor Service and World Wide Fund for Nature.
